BCD Explores Innovation in Eindhoven
In October 2025, BCD embarked on an exciting venture to the DAF Trucks manufacturing facility in Eindhoven – a key player in the development of next-generation electric vehicle technology.

‘Our recent visit to the DAF factory provided an invaluable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the latest advancements in heavy-duty electric vehicle technology. The trip offered real insight into the cutting-edge battery systems and innovations that are shaping the next generation of sustainable haulage solutions.
For BCD and the wider logistics industry, the integration of electric vehicles represents an exciting step forward. EVs offer a cleaner, more sustainable alternative for operations – particularly in urban and built-up areas where emissions and noise reduction are key priorities. Embracing this technology will not only enhance our environmental credentials but also position BCD at the forefront of the industry’s transition toward greener transport solutions.
What impressed me most during the visit was the exceptional build quality of DAF’s electric range and the clear confidence their team has in their product. Their passion for innovation and commitment to excellence were evident throughout, leaving a lasting impression and genuine excitement for what lies ahead in the electric transport landscape.
We were also fortunate to experience a hands-on test drive of DAF’s electric trucks, which proved to be both informative and inspiring. The professionalism of the presentation and the real-world examples of companies already implementing this technology demonstrated the tangible progress being made toward a more sustainable future in logistics.
